Our refund policy and terms

Introduction

This Refund Policy governs refunds for products and services purchased from Elands AI. By making a purchase, you agree to the terms set out in this policy. This policy should be read in conjunction with our Terms of Service.

Please note: Where a product is digital content which is immediately made available, by downloading or otherwise acquiring the product, you consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that you will lose your right of withdrawal once the download or applicable transmission of the digital content has begun.

1. Payment and Refunds

Elands AI will charge your chosen payment method (such as your credit card, debit card, PayPal account or any other methods available) for any paid transactions, including any applicable taxes according to the tax jurisdiction in which the transaction takes place.

1.1 General Refund Policy

Refund requests must be submitted within 60 days of the original purchase date. All refund requests received after 60 days from the date of the transaction will not be processed.

If technical problems prevent or unreasonably delay delivery of the product or service, your exclusive and sole remedy is either replacement of the product or refund of the price paid, as determined by Elands AI.

1.2 Pre-Orders

If you pre-order a product, you'll be charged upfront. During this time, you can request a refund for whatever reason until the content is delivered, after which the standard refund policy applies.

1.3 Digital Content

For digital content that is immediately made available upon purchase, refunds may be limited once you have accessed or downloaded the content. We reserve the right to refuse refunds for digital content that has been fully accessed or downloaded, except where required by law or in cases of technical failure.

2. Subscriptions

Our services may allow you to purchase access to products on a subscription basis ("Paid Subscriptions"). Paid Subscriptions automatically renew until cancelled.

2.1 Subscription Cancellation

If you wish to cancel your subscription, please contact us at least 48 hours before the end of the current billing period. Please make sure you provide your order number and the email address used to purchase the product. Your cancellation will take effect at the next payment date.

There are no refunds on unused subscription periods. Cancelling your subscription will stop future charges, but does not entitle you to a refund for any unused portion of the current billing period.

2.2 Subscription Price Changes

We'll notify you if the price of a Paid Subscription increases and, if required, seek your consent to continue. You'll be charged between 00:00 and 01:00 (UTC) on the day the Paid Subscription period renews.

2.3 Free Trials

Certain Paid Subscriptions may offer a free trial before charging you. If you decide to unsubscribe from a Paid Subscription before we start charging your payment method, you must cancel the subscription before the expiration of the trial period by contacting us. If we cannot charge your payment method for any reason (such as expiration or insufficient funds), and you have not cancelled your Paid Subscription, you remain responsible for any uncollected amounts.

We reserve the right to cancel your Paid Subscription if we are unable to successfully charge your payment method to renew your subscription.

3. Sales Tax Refunds

If you have been charged sales tax on your purchase and are registered for sales tax in the country of purchase, you may be entitled to a refund of the sales tax amount if permitted by the laws applicable in such country. Sales taxes include VAT, GST, Consumption Tax and others as applicable from time to time.

You must contact Elands AI within 60 days after completing the purchase to be eligible for a sales tax refund. This refund will only be processed upon the provision of a valid sales tax code for your country.

4. Refund Processing

To request a refund, please contact our support team with the following information:

  • Your account email address
  • The date of purchase
  • Your order number or transaction ID
  • The reason for the refund request
  • Any relevant transaction details

We will review your request and respond within 5-7 business days. If approved, refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 10-14 business days. The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account may vary depending on your payment provider.

5. Non-Refundable Items and Circumstances

The following are not eligible for refunds:

  • Refund requests received more than 60 days after the date of purchase
  • Unused subscription periods after cancellation
  • Digital content that has been fully accessed, downloaded, or used
  • Services that have been used beyond a reasonable trial period
  • Any add-on services or features purchased separately, unless otherwise specified
  • Refunds requested after the service has been cancelled or terminated due to violation of our Terms of Service

6. Chargebacks and Disputes

If you initiate a chargeback or dispute with your payment provider, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately. We encourage you to contact us directly to resolve any issues before initiating a chargeback or dispute. We are committed to working with you to resolve any concerns you may have.

7. Electronic Invoices and Receipts

You agree to receipt of all invoices and receipts in an electronic format, which includes email. Product prices may change at any time. When providing us with your information, you must ensure that it is up-to-date and accurate. Elands AI will not be responsible for the event of non-receipt of the product or service due to incorrect information being provided by you.

8. Changes to This Policy

Elands AI reserves the right at any time to modify this Refund Policy and to add new or additional terms or conditions. Such modifications and additional terms and conditions will be communicated to you and, if accepted, will be effective immediately and will be incorporated into this policy. Any changes will be posted on this page, and we will notify you of significant changes via email or through our service.
